Behind the Beat Productions is owned and operated by Jesseye Sooy (aka DJ Puma), originally from south Jersey. His love for music has been a constant in his life from his days as a drum&bass DJ to his sleepless nights as a hip-hop producer. Jesseye always dreamed of having a studio where he can make music 24/7. That dream is now a reality.

Whether you need beats, or need a place to make them, Behind the Beat Productions has got you covered. With a state of the art microphone, digital mixing console and a 20x15 recording area, we have the tools for recording music. Now we need you... 



With a talented group of musicians on hand, we can help you make most genres of music such as hip-hop, reggae, funk, rock, etc. The studio is equipped with a drum set, bass guitar, electric and acoustic guitars, and hand drums. We will even write songs for you.



In addition to recording, we also sell instrumentals.
